Our Food Hubs bring the best of Salt Fork Food Works directly to local farmers markets and the communities around them. Located at the Downtown Bloomington Farmers Market and the Old Capitol Farmers Market in Downtown Springfield, both hubs are open every Saturday morning, year-round — even when the markets are closed for the season. The Springfield hub is also open on Wednesdays, giving customers another chance each week to stock up.

The Bloomington hub currently operates as Martinelli’s Market – Bloomington, but will transition to the Salt Fork Food Works Food Hub name by the end of the year to reflect our growing company and network of partners.

Each hub is a one-stop shop for Bakehouse breads, Prairie Fruits Farm cheeses, seasonal produce, and other local favorites, including our famous Bakehouse croughnuts (croissant x doughnut). At the same time, they function as logistical aggregation sites, where we stage wholesale orders for restaurants, retailers, and institutions located outside our regular delivery routes. Our Springfield hub is also operated in partnership with The Farms of Illinois, helping expand access to fresh, regional food across central Illinois.
