The Farms of Illinois is a farmer-led cooperative dedicated to making nutrient-dense, chemical-free food accessible to more people and institutions across our state. Their network of central Illinois farms follows regenerative practices to produce grass-fed meats, pasture-raised poultry, organic produce, and dairy products free from hormones and antibiotics.
As our partner in the Springfield Food Hub, they help distribute Prairie Fruits Farm cheeses while also sharing their own exceptional meats and produce with our customers. Beyond retail, The Farms of Illinois plays a vital role in supporting local schools and institutions, ensuring that children and communities alike have access to the freshest, most nourishing food possible. Together, we’re proving that Illinois agriculture is capable of so much more than conventional row crops — it’s a foundation for a healthier, more resilient food system.
